Arvind Kejriwal granted bail in defamation case filed by Arun Jaitley

Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal along with five other AAP leaders on Thursday were granted bail by Delhi’s Patiala House court in connection with a criminal defamation case filed against them by Arun Jaitley the Union finance minister of India.

Arvind Kejriwal and the five other defendants were granted bail by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Sumit Dass on bail bonds of Rs 20,000 each.

The court has fixed the next hearing for May 19 for arguments on framing of charges in the case.
