Chairperson Maa Krishna Kashyap said, “The word ‘Cancer’ is so frightening and especially with breast cancer – women are shy or have inhibitions towards addressing it. It is one of the most prevalent diseases these days and awareness about it is essential. The main objective of organising the camp was to spread awareness, remove fear from the minds of women and also to provide an opportunity for free checkups and counselling which is out of reach for the less-privileged”.

The camp was a huge success. In spite of her busy schedule, Dr. Nag went around the ashram with Maa and Ramesh Grover, and sought blessings in the mandirs and expressed that the atmosphere of the ashram was so peaceful and serene.
