Dev Patel’s ‘Hotel Mumbai’ chronicles 72 hours of Mumbai’s 26/11 attacks


It’s been 10 years since the deadly attacks of 26/11 which shook the metropolitan city – Mumbai. While citizens and people around the world cannot and will #neverforget, they remember and live by the city’s spirit every day.

‘Hotel Mumbai’ is the second movie after Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Attacks of 26/11’ which chronicles the 4-day terrorist attack of 2008.

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and ‘Lion’ fame actor, Dev Patel dons the role of a waiter working at the prestigious Taj Hotel who, along with his colleagues and customers, witnesses the atrocities and killings. The film is based on true events which took place during the 72 deadly hours and portrays how the staff of the hotel try their best to protect their guests from the shootings as the keep their own life at stake.

Releasing in March, ‘Hotel Mumbai’ also stars actor Anupam Kher. Watch the gripping trailer below:
