The first teaser of the upcoming film Inferno is just out. The movie is based on 2013 novel of the same name by Dan Brown. The film is the sequel to Angels & Demons, and stars Tom Hanks, reprising his role as Robert Langdon, along with Felicity Jones, Omar Sy, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Ben Foster, and Irrfan Khan.
Plot: Robert Langdon awakens in a hospital room in Florence, Italy, with no memory as to what has transpired over the last few days. Landgon is given a switch that, when activated, will wipe out half of the human population. If he doesn’t hit the switch, the human race will go completely extinct in the next 100 years. He suddenly finds himself, again, the target of a major manhunt. But with the help of Dr. Sienna Brooks and his knowledge of symbology, Langdon will try to regain his freedom, and lost memories, all whilst solving the most intricate riddle he’s ever faced.
In July 2013, Sony set the film for a December 18, 2015 release, though due to the date clash with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the date was moved almost a year to October 14, 2016. The film was later moved back again to October 28, 2016.
