Louis van Gaal Sacked As Manchester United Manager

Louis van Gaal

Manchester United has sacked Louis van Gaal  from his position as manager of the team. This news comes just two days after Van Gaal led Manchester United to victory in the FA Cup final.

According to reports this decision has come to place because of United’s poor Premier League campaign. The team was eliminated from the Champions League group stages in December and later failed to qualify for next season’s edition of the tournament, finishing fifth in the Premier League. Van Gaal’s coaching staff  including assistant coach Albert Stuivenberg and goalkeeper coach Frans Hoek have left the team.

Louis van Gaal will likely be replaced by former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho on a three-year contract.
