Pune Women Take Wings, Go Paragliding On International Women’s Day

In our routine of daily chores and responsibilities haven’t we women forgotten to live a carefree and uplifted life? When did we last do something crazy, something which we had never done before? Have we actually forgotten to believe in ourselves? This Women’s Day, 8 such women went out to experience the expression, “Sky is the limit”, inspired and initiated by a young budding blogger in Pune – Sneha Desai. Her blog Littlemisschatterbox is about travel, experience and everything fun. Sneha not only strongly believes that life is unpredictable and should be lived in moments and not in days, but she herself lives with the same ideology and enthusiasm.

Backed with this thought Sneha decided to let the group of 8 middle-aged and young women (the oldest flier being 58 years old)  get a flavour of flying and freedom through Paragliding, with Asia’s leading flying school, Temple Pilots at Pawna near Kamshet. Each flight was life-changing as each of them soared high leaving behind the roles of mother, sister daughter, wife: letting go and just being themselves.

“The experience left them energetic, more courageous, feeling younger – all just inexplicable”, beams Sneha. The cherry on the cake was a gorgeous hamper of self and health care products made by women entrepreneurs that Sneha gifted to these enthusiastic ladies.

The event was coordinated by Broken Mixer. With the amazing response Sneha received for this event, she plans to conduct more of such enriching experiences and add more breath-taking moments to life.
